The Saint Carlo Catholic Academy Trust (SCCAT) is a newly established Catholic Academy trust in West London, in the Diocese of Westminster. It officially began operating on 1^st April 2026 and brings together eight Catholic primary schools, including St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Hanwell.

The trust was incorporated in December 2024, with the eight primary schools formally joining in April 2026.

The eight founding primary schools are Mount Carmel Catholic Primary School, Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Primary School, St Anselm's Catholic Primary School, St Gregory's Catholic Primary School, St John Fisher Catholic Primary School, St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, St Raphael's Catholic Primary School and St Vincent's Catholic Primary School.

Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School is currently an associate member and plans to become a full member in 2027.

The Trust takes its inspiration from Saint Carlo Acutis, who was canonised in September 2025.

The Trust’s vision is centred on three principles:

- Guided by faith: Placing Christ at the centre of school life and promoting a welcoming Catholic community.

- Serving with generosity: Recognising the dignity, individuality and gifts of every child.

- Learning for life: Providing high-quality education and helping children achieve their full potential.

A particularly important theme is Carlo's belief that every child is unique and should be encouraged to develop their own gifts rather than simply conforming to others.

The Trust has a central Board of Directors responsible for strategic direction, Catholic identity, educational standards, financial oversight and statutory compliance.  The Trust Board delegate their authority to Danny Coyle – CEO, Monica McCarthy – DCEO, Clare Walsh – HOS, Sarah Thompson-Oakley – Interim CFO, Verity Tippen – Interim COO.

Each school retains a Local Governing Body, which supports and challenges school leadership within the responsibilities delegated by the Trust Board.
